Commonwealth Gold medalist, Jocelyn Rae and Danny Sapsford played tennis continuously at the NTC for 24hrs non-stop, to help 12 tennis clubs raise funds towards club projects including court resurfacing, floodlights and tennis wheelchairs. Clubs involved at this year’s event included Chatteris LTC , Charnwood LTC and Priory LTC. We were also privileged to have Benedict Tyler, GB special athlete, and Lilly Mills on court, to help with a Down’s Syndrome Tennis session as well as players and coaches from two clubs in the North East who participated in a Visually Impaired Session. Danny and Jocelyn were also partnered throughout the event by Davis and Fed Cup pros, including Ollie Golding, Jonny Marray, James Auckland, Miles Maclagan, Luke Milligan and the new Lawn Tennis Association chief executive Scott Lloyd.
